Week 2 of my hubby journey

Week 2 almost done, this is the stage for puree food. Seriously like a baby stage, first liquid second is puree then soft food. Only he only doing it one week for each.

We decided to invest on Ninja food processor because we knew the blender we have won't work good. It just some cheap blender we bought one time because we don't really need nor use it much. So far so good, we really impressed with the ninja. He love it even more. Though he occasionally tried to eat soft without puree it. I tasted all the puree we made and surprisingly is not all that bad. Yeah I like to eat 'real' one but the puree is tolerable. So far my husband lost 20lbs, with 7 from before the surgery. It's huge for him. Oww I noticed that he's not snored as much and as loud anymore. He eat healthier too...

Me & them

There are times that I just like to say stupid things to people that say stupid things first...

Them: wooow you're getting big and slow now

Me: yes, I know... now I know how some people feels (they're happen to be in the big side)

Me: the vault never entered the return but I got it out I'll hand over to Engineer for review.

Them: great it's only been 3 weeks

Me: you're welcome to bitch, whine and moan to the vault. good luck! (a lot of stuff in backlog due to the new system, they never told me the return should be arrived and the one who handle the return at the moment the director of inventory himself)

Them: smart ass

Me: yes I'm so smart even my ass is smart

Them: the customer just like to complaint for little thing

Me: yeah I know after all they paid a lot of money for this stuff (seriously? see if they the one received the product that is not good)

Them: how old are you? you look like fifteens, twentyish

Me: well how old are you? must be about my parents age or older (obviously to work there I have to be at least 18 and since I have 2 kids age 7 & 5 and have degree I should be closed to 30 which I actually 32)

There are other things I can't think right now....

Glucose test

So the ob gyn office called me, said that I failed the glucose test! It gave me a high blood pressure in an instant and almost get me a heart attack. I was like WHAT??? That's never happen to me. I guess I've been bad I had some m&m at my work, I drink sweet soda, timbits and cookies o yeah that Saturday for my bday I had 7 layers choco cake, WHICH I SHARED with hubby and kids. It's only 1 slice too! Is it really add that much? When you are pregnant supposedly your hormone is out of whack anyway. So I guess it does, everything you ate and drink you have to really consider it. Maybe I've been lucky with the other 2. It doesn't stop me to still throw temper tantrum though. My hubby tried to console me, don't really work at the moment I still having pity party.

What next? Well I have to make another appointment for another glucose thing. It's called 3 hrs test or GPT something like that. When I asked the dr office what it is and she said well call the lab and they tell you what you need to do I was like... bitch! why can't you just tell me aarrgghhh. Of course the lab already closed so I have to make appt tomorrow. I have to arrange time from my work, which suck! I mean I'm glad with my job I can be flexible but I just have too much little stuff I need to get done before out for maternity. It also help that your boss used to be your friend errr ok we still friend but she's the boss now.

Now I probably can't sleep thinking about the darn test...

Well excuse me I'm going to pout some more somewhere in the corner....

Maybe I feel much better later on and write something fun...

The beginning

Hubby is home from hospital. The strict food regime begun...

This week is all about liquid! Sample of the 'food': V8 juice, diet tea, cream mushroom, cream chicken, whey protein, apple juice, chicken broth. Each only 4 oz per hour and he has to drink it little by little on that 1 hr. He also need to take some vitamin. I guess it's kind of easy on me to prepare it. I mean I don't have to cook or anything. I'll see other different kind of liquid so he won't get bored.

I hope this will work out.... he seems determine to make it work.

Monday mornin'

It's a long Monday. Today is my hubby bariartic surgery or well known as lap band surgery. The day start at 6:30 when we arrived at the hospital and from then on mostly WAITING especially for ME.

I used some of the time to do my glucose testing that's another rant. It's a common test for pregnant women. The only thing is you have to drink this super gross super sweet taste like flat soda drink. You have to drink it on 5 minutes then wait an hour before they draw your blood. Hopefully the test come back good.

Back to hubby, the operation took place at around 9:30. The operation it self don't take that long an hour at max then go to recovery. Now it should be only 1 hr there NOT because they don't have transporter! Transporter is a person that work is pushing the patient to the room. They were super busy and lack of transporter. So 3 hrs later... I'm tired, hungry and cranky. I rather work and made tons of report! Between hospital and getting stuff for his 'meal' I don't get home till 9PM.

All of this just the beginning...

Seriously?

So I went to movie 2 times today. My friend decided to take me for lunch and movie for my birthday yesterday. So we watched the expendables which is good for an action no wonder it become no. 1 hit. Then I went home and went out again this time w/ my hubby and his friend for Resident Evil on 3D. I've been waiting impatiently for it. Again good movie good time. So what's my blog title about? Well they charge me kid ticket! I'm saving $2 (ok my hubby did) but c'mon I'm 32 and pregnant... But I guess since I wore my sister clothes size L it did not showed that I'm pregnant! Plus since my hubby and friend is a big guy I guess I got overshadowed. Sigh... I'll be happy when I'm 50 and they think I'm only on the 20ish or 30ish! Owww yeah this is the 2nd time they mistaken, 5 yrs ago also pregnant for Harry Potter movie also paid for kid's price and got the lego for making bus.

Another attempt

I should really try harder to write stuff but I'm such a lazy and procrastinator. Every time I saw someone else's then I was like I'm going to do it.... did I nope... Well let's see this time.
